NumPy Versus APL

NumPy and APL both excel in array operations. NumPy, a standard Python package, for performant array computations. APL, an array programming language, utilizes special mathematical symbols. While NumPy programs can be verbose as an array language within Python, APL thrives on its conciseness. In his presentation, Max will introduce APL and walk through a NumPy tutorial in APL. He will argue that APL is a clear and concise alternative to NumPy. No prior APL knowledge is required; in fact, it is better for attendees not to have any APL background.
